Community letters of support
Kennecott has submitted a Mine Air Quality Notice of Intent to the Utah Division of Air Quality (UDAQ) and awaits two important decisions from UDAQ and the Utah Air Quality Board allowing Kennecott to increase production at the mine. Kennecott has fullfilled all regulatory requirements and the project has been through a rigorous technical review by UDAQ. Several community organizations, associations, cities and businesses have pledged their support for the Cornerstone Project.
