Requesting Foundation contribution formOn the banks of the Jordan River sits the Kennecott Nature Center – right in the center  of wetland, dryland and aquatic ecosystems. Since 1999, more than 70,000 children in the Murray School District have participated in hands-on learning at the Center. They enhance their understanding of the environment while collecting seeds, observing wildlife, exploring habitat and studying the natural world around them. The Kennecott Nature Center is a long-standing partnership between the Murray Education Foundation and Kennecott Utah Copper.
