Kennecott Utah Copper produces approximately 300,000 tons of copper cathodes per year. We also produce molybdenum concentrate, gold, silver, and sulfuric acid.
We mine, concentrate, smelt, and refine the copper at Kennecott's facilities west of Salt Lake City and deliver it to our customers by rail. In an industry marked by boom and bust business cycles, we have reliably provided copper to our customers for almost 100 years.
