Kennecott provides continued education about our operations and the importance of mining in the community. We have identified attracting and retaining people as a critical business issue because we are challenged with finding skilled and trained people to fill engineering and technical roles throughout the business. Additionally, we recognize our ability to help motivate and instill interest in mining and related technical roles in our immediate community by providing support around education-related activities.
